Trematon Castle, Cornwall
Trematon Castle is close to Saltash on the northern side of the River Tamar. It was the head of the Barony of Cornwall and was the residence of William, Earl of Montagu and Cornwall. He was the nephew of William the Conqueror. It became part of the Duchy of Cornwall after the Black Prince became Duke of Cornwall. The image was drawn by W Payne and engraved by S Middiman
