Comparison with other Phaestiancoins ( Svoronos Numismatique de la Crete ancienne i. 260 f. pi. 24, i f., 6 f., Babelon The Mountain-cults of Zeus 947 Monn, gr. rom. ii. 3. 989 ff. pi. 256, 4—8) makes it fairly certain that beneath the god isspread a lion (?)-skin, the head of which is touched by his left hand. That we have hereto do with a youthful Zeus appears from Hesych. F
