Michigan Residents Protest Emergency Financial Manager Law

Superior Township, Michigan - About a thousand people marched to the home of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to protest Michigan's emergency financial manager law. The law allows Snyder to give complete control of a financially-troubled city or school district to an emergency manager, replacing elected officials. Protesters say the law has been used almost exclusively against predominately African-American communities.
