She extends her left arm in the direction of the sea god Glaucus, who rises out of the water with her arms spread. A Cupid is kneeling to the right of Scylla, ready to shoot an arrow. Scylla is dressed in a robe that reveals her upper body. In the background there are bushes and trees, along the waterfront a few catkins.
