She died in Marlboro, 23 Dec, 1693, after a third widowhoodof 26 years. During this period she saw two bloody Indian 26th of March 1676, the Marlboro people were assembled intheir meeting house for worship when the alarm was sounded andthey barely reached the garrison house in time to find safety fromthe attacking Indians, who burned houses and barns and destroyedorchards and cattle. The people shortly retreated to the townsto the eastward, where they remained for some months until peacewas Grave of Samuel2 Brigham, Marlboro Cemetery
