The bulbous stock is ex- cellent and the demand is brisk. Tulips, valley, Von Sions and Easter lilies have had the greatest call. Smilax, aspara- gus and galax had the best demand in greens during the week. Various Notes. Frank McCabe, representing the A. L. Eandall Co., Chicago, and E. J. Fan- court, representing the S. S. Pennock- Meehan Co., Philadelphia, called on the trade last week. J. Schreiber, representing the Foley Mfg. Co., Chicago, has been calling on the greenhouse men in and around St. Louis, as there is much building of new houses contemplated. The Bentzen Floral Co., with its new delivery car, is right in line for St. Patrick's day, solid green and attract- ive. It is a Dorris car of local make. Dan Cupid and Mr. Stork got busy among the force at Smith's wholesale house. Charlie Eichards took a day off and visited St. Charles, Mo., and took unto himself a wife, while the stork visited the home of Joe Zonzs and left a fine baby girl. The boss, Wm. Smith, passed out good cigars Sunday, the second anniversary of his wedding. Otto G. Koenig, head of the Koenig Floral Co., was nominated
