On August 12, 2021 at Erbil Air Base, Iraq, Military of Peshmerga Chief of Staff LTG Jamal Mohamed Aymanki meets with Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Abdul Ameer Al-Shammari Deputy Head of Joint Operations Command for Iraq (JOC-I) to discuss the establishment of joint Brigades between the Iraqi Army and Peshmerga forces. Both parties understand the importance of joining forces in order to continue their efforts in defeating Daesh.
