Australia, Victoria, Melbourne, April 11, 2019 - Melbourne General Cemetery is a 110 acre necropolis located 2 km north of the city of Melbourne in the suburb of Carlton. Since its opening on the1st of June 1853 close to a million people have been buried in the cemetery and it is the last resting place for many famous Australians.
