The crocodile had been waiting in the murky water for its moment to attack. MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, KENYA: In one image, two zebras were seen crossing the Mara River before one of them was ambushed by a hungry crocodile. In another image, the zebra could be seen attempting to escape the crocodile before ultimately being snapped between the predator's strong jaws and dragged to an untimely death. The unique photographs were taken by commercial and industrial photographer Ian Hay (62) from Kenya, Nakuru. The sighting took place at Main Crossing Rocky on the Mara River within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, and Ian was 230-feet away from the action when he took the shocking images. Ian used a Nikon Z-7 camera with a 150-600mm lens to capture the shots.
