In case no candidate has a majority on the first ballot, thecandidate having the lowest number of votes shall be dropped ; andso on at each succeeding ballot. ARTICLE VI. Section i. The dues of the Association shall be one dollar peryear, payable on or before the annual meeting in November, to defraythe expenses of the Association. Sec. 2. Any member conducting himself in a manner unbecom-ing a gentleman and a soldier at the annual meeting, banquet, or onparade, may be expelled by a vote of the JAMES PATTEKSON,Co. Upon the death of a member, it shall be the duty ofthe Corresponding Secretary to notify the members of the Associationof the time and place of the funeral through the mails. Sec. 2. It is expected of all comrades to attend the funeral of adeceased member, and that the badge of the Association be worn. ARTICLE VIII. Section i. No alterations or amendments to these By-laws shallbe considered without a notification to each member, of the proposedchange, at least one month before being acted upon. Sec. 2.
