The seven dumping doors in the outside wall areclosed with rolling steel shutters and removable plank gatesare provided on the inside to relieve the shutters of any pres-sure when the bin is piled full. There are no partition wallsin the wet sand bin. A concrete tunnel 6 ft. wide and 5 ft. 8 in. high is built underthe entire length of the wet sand bin to house the wet sandbelt conveyor.
