STAR INCUBATORS are heated and ventilated by thesame systems that have made them famous, systems that are notto be found in any other incubator made. The heater or radiatoris placed in the top of the incubator, directly over the eggs, and isheated by a lamp hanging under the incubator (where, by theway, it is in no danger of getting knocked out of place ordamaged, as is the case where the lamp hangs or sits on a bracketon the end of the machine). Connection is made between thelamp and radiator by means of an iron flue, extending from thelamp under the incubator up to and entering the radiator. Theheat after leaving the lamp passes upward through this flue, enter-ing the radiator, through which it passes three times before leav-ing ; thus every part of the incubator is perfectly heated andevery particle of the heat is utilized.
