The house * Mr. Kelley was a native of Salem, N. H., born February 1, 1802. His father, RichardKelley, was out one cauipaifjn in the Revolutionary war; his mother was a adughter of RevSamuel Fletrhcr, of the Baptist denomination. Samuel was the youngest of ten the age of eighteen ho professed religion. After studying a while at Atkinson and New-market academies, in 1822, he entered the travelling ministry, and has since spent the mostof his time in New-Hampshire and Vermont; having been stationed in LandatT, Sutton,Deering, Sandwich, Gilmanton, Newmarket, Concord, Nashua, Portsmoutli, Great Falls,Dover, Manchester and Bristol, in this State, and at Athens, Newbury, aiontpelier and Dan-ville.
