Dickson Chumba of Kenya triumphantly raises his arms as he is about to break the tape as the winner of the 2015 Chicago Marathon. Chumba's race winning time was 2:09:25. Often a closely comntested finish, Chumba won going away, beating the second-place finisher and fellow Kenyon by 25 seconds. The win was Chumba's first win at a major marathon event and fourth overall. He had recorded his fastest-ever marathon time at the 2014 Chicago Marathon where he finished third. Before becoming a professional runner in 2008, Chumba was a gardener.
