NORFOLK (April 13, 2017) Ensign Vanessa Prado, USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) Combat Electronics Division Officer, provides an overview of the amphibious assault ship's communications capabilities for a group of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) employees who toured the ship as part of SSC Atlantic's "Scientist Engaging Sailors" program. Employees involved in the "Scientists" program have the opportunity to talk with fleet Sailors during tours of ships and facilities at Naval Station Norfolk.
