Mission STS-133 space walk. NASA astronaut Steve Bowen waving while working on the exterior of the International Space Station (ISS) on 2 March 2011. During this extra-vehicular activity (EVA), Bowen and his colleague Alvin Drew carried out various construction and maintenance tasks on and around the ISS. The duration of the space walk was just over 6 hours. It was performed as part of mission STS-133, flown by the Space Shuttle Discovery from 24 February to 9 March 2011.
