During the Vietnam War on July 5, 1967, Marines from the Ninth Regiment at Dong Ha were captured in a photograph while battling a fire in one of their supply dumps. The fire was a result of the Marine Combat Base being hit by North Vietnamese Army artillery fire on July 3. The image was taken by LCpl Brown and is a part of the Department of Defense's collection.
