Emil Reich, a 99 year old World War II veteran and Purple Heart recipient, shakes the hand of French Consul General Lebrun-Damiens after he is presented with the French Legion d’Honneur, Feb. 22, 2019 at the Idaho State Capitol Building in Boise, Idaho. Reich received France’s highest award for his efforts in WWII after landing on the shores of Normandy on D-Day.
