Dr. George L. Meylan, athletic advisor of Columbia University, is pictured alongside Mr. Hewitt, a well-known architect from Cleveland, Ohio, and Warshawsky and A. Wardhawsky, both commissioned by the French Government. This group of Americans was chosen to design and decorate the Foyer du Soldat Recreation Huts in Paris. The photograph was taken in the studio of Warshawsky Brothers in Paris. Censored and released on March 14, 1918.
