Yosef Avidar(1906 - 1995) was one of the leaders of the Haganah and the first IDF generals, deputy chief of staff of the Haganah, The head of the Operations Branch, the Israeli ambassador to the Soviet Union and Argentina, the director general of the Ministry of Labour.
