Feb 14, 2024: The village, famous for housing the house and head office of cosmetic brand Yves Rocher, and the Alstom Power 110 turbine wind farm of Landes de Couesme located in the communes of La Gacilly, Les Fougerets and Saint-Martin-sur-Oust (Brittany region). The first work of the wind park expansion project, a partnership between ENGIE Green and 56 Energies, begins this month and will conclude with the installation of 3 additional wind turbines from the fall of 2024 and their commissioning in 2025 to produce more green electricity.
