AKUD Ivo Lola Ribar folk ensemble from Belgrade, Serbia, performing at 26th Folkart International CIOFF Folklore Festival, folklore sub-festival of Festival Lent, one of the largest outdoor festivals in Europe. As the biggest ensemble of its kind, with over 1,000 members, Academic Cultural and Artistic Company Ivo Lola Ribar has been carefully fostering Serbian national artistic tradition and customs in folklore, orchestral music (folk, string and chamber), chorus music and theatre for seven decades now. The company is a cultural and educational institution representing the rich Serbian heritage. Their name “Lola” means a person who loves his/her homeland, dances, singing and music. They have danced and sung through thousands of concerts. All performances of AKUD “Lola” are sold out in advance. They have received many awards for their artistic achievements in Serbia and abroad.
