The plant contains fourniter beds, which are each 10 ft. x 13 ft. in plan, and havea combined capacity of 1200 gals, per minute. The filterscontain 8 ins. of gravel, in three sizes, at the bottom, andthen 28 ins. of sand. They are equipped with the usualstrainer drainage and air wash systems.
