It is one of the mines thathas been suffering from its connection with stock operations, and is atthe present time idle, but during the writers visit negotiations werebeing completed by which new life will be infused into this extensiveproperty. The lowest tunnel that was completed shortly before theproperty closed down runs in over one mile and gives one thousand fivehundred feet of backs. There are six tunnels in all. No. 1 and No. 2are comprised on the companys map as old works that have not been. Green Mountain, Crescent, and Altoona Mines. Round Valley Reservoir. a. Crescent Mine. b. Crescent townsite. c. Tunnel No. 3 is one thousand five hundred feet inlength; No. 4 is three thousand feet; No. 5, four thousand eight hundredfeet; and No. 6, six thousand and seventy-five feet.
