Chateau de Polignac is Castle that was built as early as the 12th Century on a Basalt Hillock. It has a 32 mtr high machicolated keep that shows breathtaking views of Auvergne. It also holds various towers that have survived numerous battlements and are still standing tall today. Polignac is the name of several communes in France.
