Junior doctors from the (BMA) British Medical Association picket outside St Thomas hospital in Westminster as they start a three day strike in an ongoing dispute over pay and conditions. The strike comes after the government submitted a pay offer for junior doctors amounting to a 5% increase, which the union rejected on the basis that it was not 'credible' and was not close to the full 35% pay restoration increase sought after by the BMA.
