Insignia for a busby for officers,of the Brunswick Hussar's Regiment No. 17 Frosted gilded tombac,plate scroll with the inscription,"Peninsula - Sicilien - Waterloo - Mars la Tour" with fastening clamps on the back. Frosted silver-plated,nickel-silver skull and crossbones(druggist death's head),with three double fastening clamps on the back. The scroll was worn with this inscription after 1873. The death's head was added after 17 September 1883. Definitely unworn insignia in outstanding condition.
