NBR 0-4-2 steam locomotive
was an 0-4-2 tender engine. 18 engines originally built for the Edinburgh & Glasgow Railway by Beyer Peacock in 1859-62 and at Cowlairs in 1864. All survived to be acquired by NBR in 1865 and were allocated NBR nos 317-328 and 329-334.
