Anal IV 6-7; last spine as long as and stronger than longest dorsal. Pectoral a little shorter than hend. Ventral produced into Fie. Tropheus annectens. Type (A. M. C). a filament, extending a little beyond origin of anal. Caudal slightly eraarginate. Caudal peduncle as long as deep. Scales feebly denticulate, 28-30 jj; lateral lines y. Uniform brownish.
