A small Tyrolean bombard, circa 1450, Iron barrel forged of several pieces. Slender, octagonal chamber with reinforcement ring and short, slightly funnel-shaped barrel. At top a round vent hole, in front of that a struck house symbol. Length 33 cm. Rare gun type dating from the late Middle Ages. Cf.
