Vegetables growing in a large rectangular plot within the large walled vegetable garden of Rousham House in Oxfordshire, England

One of the large vegetable beds within the walled vegetable garden of Rousham House in Oxfordshire. Flowers, such as dahlia's and hollyhocks, are grown amongst the vegetables to attract pollinating bees and insects. The gardens at Rousham were created by William Kent (1685-1748) and are a fine example of early English landscape design and remain much as he left them.
