The field and grounds used in the movie 'Field of Dreams' were left in tact following the making of the film and have become a family and tourist attraction site in the far eastern Iowa community of Dyersville. Now, families visit the set and often walk on the field used in the movie to play catch or run the bases. Dyersville is a predominantly agriculture-based community and the baseball diamond and movie set were set among farms outside of Dyersville.
