Several thousand supporters of "Wings Over Scotland", a collection of political groups that are pro-independence, pro- SNP, pro-Scottish Resistance, anti-Unionism and anti-Conservative held a rally through Glasgow city centre. Generally the parade was vocally loud and good natured until it met with a small ad-hoc group of supporters for Unionism in George Square and then the police had to intervene and separate the two factions to prevent disorder.
