Heqanakht Papyrus Fragments, Middle Kingdom, Dynasty 12, ca. 1961–1917 , From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Deir el-Bahri, Tomb of Ipy (TT 315, B), Tomb of Meseh, 1921–22, Papyrus, ink, Fragment A: H. 8 cm (3 1/8 in.), W. cm (1 3/8 in.); Fragment B: H. cm (1 11/16 in.), W. cm (2 1/2 in.), Heqanakht was a native of Thebes (present day Luxor) during the early twelfth dynasty. As 'ka-servant' of a high official he was responsible for the high official's statue cult and the administration of the land and income that had been endowed to maintain this cult
