Gymnasium students of the Irkutsk gymnasium, probably children of Domishkevich, late 19th cent - early 20th cent. This collection of photographs and documents from the private archive of Sergei Mikhailovich Chashchin relates to the establishment of a firefighting service in eastern Siberia in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It includes materials about early firefighting equipment, the organization of a Siberian firefighting team, and the leaders of Siberia's first firefighting service.
