A French silver-mounted percussion double-barrelled shotgun, Gambey Fils, Autun, circa 1800 Blued side-by-side barrels with smooth bores in 14 mm calibre and patent breechblock. Gold inlay and ornamental engravings above muzzles and chambers, on centre rail marked in gold "CANON TORDU", on the snails proof marks of St. Etienne. Adapted, lightly engraved percussion locks signed "Gambey Fils a Autun".
