The Bradford Pothole Club organise a fund raising meet during the May Bank Holiday when for a modest sum a winch and bosuns chair is installed that allows members of the general public to experience an exciting ride strapped inside the bosuns chair to make a rapid descent of 365feet into Gaping Gill main chamber that is only accessible by experienced cavers. It is said that for comparison that once inside the main chamber it's big enough to house the whole of St Paul's Cathedral.
