The park is easy of access. Locomotives dragyou to its northern boundary at Cinnabar, andhorses and guides do the rest. From Cinnabaryou will be whirled in coaches along the foam-ing Gardiner River to Mammoth Hot Springs;. GREAT FALLS AND GRAND CANON, YELLOWSTONE PARK THE YELLOWSTOISTE NATIONAL PARK 51 thence through woods and meadows, gulches andravines along branches of the Upper Gallatin,Madison, and Firehole rivers to the main geyserbasins; thence over the Continental Divide andback again, up and down through dense pine,spruce, and fir woods to the magnificent Yellow-stone Lake, along its northern shore to the out-let, down the river to the falls and Grand Canon,and thence back through the woods to MammothHot Springs and Cinnabar; stopping here andthere at the so-called points of interest amongthe geysers, springs, paint-pots, mud volcanoes,etc., where you will be allowed a few minutes orhours to saunter over the sinter pavements,watch the play of a few of the geysers, and peerinto some of the most beautiful and terrible ofthe craters and pools. These wonders you willenjoy, and also the views of the mountains, espe-cially the Gallatin and Absaroka ranges, thelong, willowy glacie
