150928-N-GZ228-119 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 28, 2015) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 44, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, approaches the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) during well deck operations. Boxer is currently underway off the coast of Southern California conducting routine training exercises and maintenance in preparation for its upcoming deployment.
