Hercules and the constitutional revision of 1840 (1845), De Nederlandsche Staatsman (title on object), A giant (Hercules) brandishing a club with the inscription 'constitutional revision' and in the other hand a rolled up document with the inscription 'constitution 1840'. The body of the giant contains the names of members of the House of Representatives of the States General. On the right the Dutch Virgin turns her face away in horror, in the foreground four men and a woman welcome the giant with outstretched arms and laurel wreaths. Probably a cartoon on the chamber's rejection in May 1845
