Roxana Judkins Stinchfield Ferris (1895-1978), US botanist. Ferris graduated from Stanford University in 1916, and then began work at the university's Dudley Herbarium. Her career spanned her official retirement in 1963, and involved the collection of over 14,000 botanical specimens. She was co-editor of the reference work 'Illustrated Flora of the Pacific States'. Other publications included 'Death Valley Wildflowers' and 'Flowers of Point Reyes National Seashore'. She was married to Stanford entomologist Gordon Floyd Ferris (1893-1958).
