Blue sky portrait Hala Mirowska market from red flowers at the side of TGI Friday's outside eating area, Ciepla Street, Warsaw
Hala Mirowska, in the background of the shot, consists of two narrow brick market halls, built 1899-1901. The building was Warsaw's largest market hall until the outbreak of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, when it was ravaged by fire, but survived. After the end of World War 2, it served as a bus depot. In the 1950s, it resumed its original function as a market hall. Outside the building, there are several stalls selling flowers.
