The writer can recalla journey on this road in the fifties on the top of a four-wheeled coach-body car similar to those which were duplicatesof the old cars used on the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad, andwhich were exhibited at Chicago last year. New York and Philadelphia capitalists are said to be largeholders of the bonds, and it is believed that the Widener-Elkinssyndicate holds an interest in it.
