Jewish leader Simon Ben Kosiba, nicknamed Simon Bar Kochba (Barchochebas) was a Jewish Messiah. Between 132 and 135 he was leader of the final uprising against the Romans. Here he tries to convince men from his role as Messiah and shows a fire-breathing Roman to the Jewish army, they respond with awe.
