An Air Force E-3 Sentry approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker to refuel during Red Flag 12-4 over the Nevada Test and Training Range. The Sentry provided all-weather surveillance, command and control, and communications during the exercise. The E-3 is assigned to the from the 965th Airborne Air Control Squadron, and the KC-135 is assigned to the 964th Airborne Air Control Squadron, both at Tinker AFB, Okla.
