NASA Deep Space Network antenna. This 70-metre radio antenna is part of the Spanish complex of NASA's MDSCC (Madrid Deep Space Communications Complex), west of Madrid, Spain. It is part of the global network known as DSN, Deep Space Network, that has two other centres in Canberra, Australia, and in Goldstone, California, USA. This antenna is capable of tracking a spacecraft traveling tens of billions of kilometres from Earth. The constellation of Orion is in the night sky at upper right. Photographed in 2018.
