Yellowstone, Wyoming USA - May 2008; Widely recognised as the first National Park in the World, Yellowstone extends from parts of Wyoming into Montana and Idaho. This area is known for its wildlife, grand scenic vistas and its many geothermal features. It is one of the natural wonders of the world. Norris Geyser Basin is located near the northwest edge of Yellowstone Caldera near Norris Junction and on the intersection of three major faults. It is therefore very prone to Earthquakes.
