SHETLAND, SCOTLAND: David in his diving gear. A BRITISH photographer has captured the chaotic moment hundreds of hungry gannets divebombed the sea at speeds of SIXTY-MILES-PER-HOUR. Incredible underwater images of the action-packed feeding frenzy showed the hungry sea birds, who can dive from heights of 98-feet, jostling with each other for a tasty mackerel meal. The boisterous birds could be seen snapping beaks with one another, and leaving underwater contrails in their wake as they collided to snatch a tasty morsel of fish. The breath-taking images were taken off the coast of Shetland, Scotland by photographer David Keep (61) from Chesterfield, UK, who spent about an hour in the 10 degrees Celsius water with the frantic birds.
