Plant about half a dozen seeds in each hill. The earth about the plants should be keptloose and clean from weeds until runners are well started. Cutting off the leading shoots of the runningvarieties is recommended as having a tendency to promote growth and early maturity of the fruit. One ounceof seed will plant from fifteen to forty
