Its main arch has a span of sixty-twofeet and rises nearly one hundred feet above theFlora, and its length is almost two hundred andfifty feet. It is surpassed only by the bridge atNarni. If I were to reduce this question of the monu-mental relations of Rome to Etruria to itssimplest expression it would be to advise a visitto Corneto-Tarquinii and to Cervetri-Caere asthe sites most acces
